Why Yoga Prehab?

In 2011 I injured my foot during dance practice, which led me to the yoga mat where I slowly made progress through different exercises and techniques. I’ve recently gone through a pregnancy and I am still (p)rehabilitating from that. Between these two events I’ve been training more intensely. Wherever I’ve been in life, yoga and movement has helped in different ways. 

I’ve worked with movement training and yoga for quite some time now and I’ve bumped into several challenges along the way, misinformation being one of the most prevalent.

All this made me more and more interested in the subjects of the body in relationship to movement so I started studying these topics more intensely. This has accumulated to what I’m teaching today, and this is why Yoga Prehab exists. To help people being proactive about their bodies and health.


What is Yoga Prehab?

Yoga Prehab aims to raise the bar for yoga and movement training by distilling the latest research on physiology and biomechanics into actionable knowledge that you can use on the mat and in the gym.

The body as a whole is made up of many smaller systems that work together when you are active and healthy. Through our sedentary lives - sitting at desks and in cars all day - we lose touch with our natural movement and our health suffers. 

Yoga Prehab is a proactive approach to movement that focuses on enhancing body control, joint health, mobility & stability, movement capacity, body awareness, physical longevity & well-being.
